Ubicated over Madero Street and a couple of blocks from “Arch of the Heroe’s Pathway” it is constructed a magnificent church, pride from the people in the city, this church born like a proyect in 1920 by the priest Bernardo Chávez but it’s construction wasn’t complete until this year 2010.

The church has a neogothic style, it’s full of details like the front doors covered with engravings about the creation once inside the stained-glass windows are admirable, as well the arks and in general the architecture.

At the back of the Build it is possible to access the catacombs, that are part of the edification. In this place are placed the rest and ashes from death people. Through the catacombs we will find some altars carefully cared in every detail.

Outside the church and to it’s right there’s a Bell that was left in the exterior and not inside the Bell tower so people could admire it.

Another peculiar detail, that I remember when I was in the school Is that people from the city use to say the world will ends this church were completed (and If this is true, this urban legend has only this year to expire).

Arch of the Heroe's Pathway before the dawn

Arch of the Hero’s Pathway, is one of the most ingrained symbols. It’s construction started at 1893 wihen it was called like “Arch of peace”, built for the 83 Mexican independence anniversary. At the beginning made only with wood and cartoon felt board, it was’t until 1896 that it became an arch made of concret. The Lion that is in the top was disposed in 1950 in place of an original masonry Lion. The original Lion could be found in the city’s zoo.

Some of the Year seasons at the Arch

The Pathway is on Madero street and it begins since the Arch and ends on the jetty’s city.

Arch at the background

A courious detail from the Arch, are the statues that have a label “The year stations” incrusted on it, but while walking over the pathway anyone realize there are 6 statues of thype. . . . while we only have 4 stations in the year.

Zoológico de León

In a gloomy Sunday by the morning we finally decided to visit Zoo from the city "Zoológico de León".  It is at the outskirts of the city going to Ibarrilla the same place where we can begin the way to "Cerro del Gigante", in the way to Ibarrilla we can easily saw a pair of crossed tusk, making the entrance to the Zoo.

Zoo Entrance

Since I only know another Zoo that I visited in Nuevlo León (a sloppy one), I just can say that I like thi Zoo and that it is frequently in restoration and remodulation, and some months ago they opened a new section, a Safari ( that I didn't have the pleasure to Know);  There are several spaces for childs being the more popular the farms.  The only is that space is never going to be enough for animals in captivityand the space were they live.

Almost at the middle of the tour the clouds come together resulting in a rain, so we have to run from the Elephants to the Giraffes, then the rain suddenly stops and came again so we had to run now with the badger and successively like this with many other jails.

The visit was with Rachel, in a very pleasant weekend even with the rain (much more fresh).  Finally I left some pics of my favorite anmial, a bird from Australia with prehistorical details like the claws and the crest in the head.

There is a reality that proves the truth of a fact. Because our memory and our senses are too insecure, too partial. We can even say that it is often impossible to discern to what extent a fact that we perceive is real and from what point we only believe that it is. So to preserve the reality as such, we need another reality a reality that relativize adjacent. But, in turn this reality needs an adjacent base to relativize itself. This means that there is another reality which shows adjacent, in turn that this is real. And this chain extends indefinitely into our consciousness and in a sense, we can say that it is through this sequence, through the conservation of this string, as we acquire a consciousness of our existence. But if this chain, coincidentally, is broken, we are puzzled. "Is the reality the other side of the broken link? Is this side?

This is the fourth book from Haruki Murakami that I read and being honest  I would like to had read since before, there are three things that attracted me in this book, first the Title (sounds like poetry), second the cover (even if it's not the original) and third the introduction.

Different from the usual stories from Murkami, this on seems too be more real and tangible, the world of the dreams is not explicitly impregnated through the story (like is the case in Kafka on the shore or the wind-up bird chronicle),  however the end of the book is completely a slapin the story making us to think the oposite, making confuse the reality and fantasy.

The story begins talking about Hajime´s life since his childhood until his mature years at 40s.  The story it´s full of loves, breaks, promises, meetings and infidelity.  Since child Hajime met a to Shimamoto. . . perhaps his unique and thrustful friend, by circunstances of his father´s job they have to separate and continue their own lives withouth seeing back.  Even if his life continues meetig another girls there was a  disconfort  and void in his life; Hajime´s life continues with mediocrity until he meet to Yukiko, with whom he thought to have found that something special;  the following years of his live becames relatively happier with his wife and two daughters and managing a two pubs a comfortable life without worries.  A night in the pub a woman appears in front of Hajime . . . Shimamoto came just to see him turning on that spark from his childhood;  Hajime found out and emptiness that never had been filled and thinking that looking back at time perhaps he could stay with his soulmate.  The climax of this tale is reached when Hajime decides to left everything including his family just for recover all that loosen time. . .

After reading this book I started to look for the music pieces cited in the story, didn't have any interest in Jazz but with Haruki (and being his specialty, before writter) it's inevitable owed that always includes some titles . . . and hearing this songs I feel to understand the situations.

Between the titles from Haruki I still think that the best one is "The wind-up bird Chronicle", and the second This one, and perhaps the third one Kafka, even if it was a complete success I'm not convince at all.
